New Additional High-Capacity Bindery and Digital Printing Systems at Joseph Merritt & Company
Hartford, CT - August 4, 2008

The Joseph Merritt Company continues to set the pace as the industry leader in the world of Digital Printing Technologies. With our recent addition of the new state-of-the-art StitchLiner bindery system and high-speed Konica digital color print system, we are poised to continue to meet and exceed our customers' expectations of high quality products/services that are delivered on demand.
The Standard Horizon StitchLiner 5500 bridges the production gap between existing flat sheet collating and booklet making systems and conventional high-volume saddle stitching lines. The new system is perfectly suited to meet the emerging growth of variable data printed documents that deliver fully versioned and customized products. The StitchLiner uses a high-speed sheet feeder for digitally collated output (up to 27,000 sheets per hour) with guaranteed document integrity using mark, bar code, or CCD camera verification.
By complementing our flagship iGen3 Digital Press system with a new Konica C6500, Joseph Merritt gains the capacity and versatility to meet all its customers' print communication requirements. Similar to the iGen3, the Konica is bundled with a Creo processing system which is an industry leading tool when personalization and database intelligence are merged with printed documents.
"We are very excited to offer our customers a complete solution to their evolving print requirements and we also understand your need to have your print pieces produced in hours instead of days."
Below are some of the details of the Konica Minolta's capabilities.
